Restaurant Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

Responsible for the overall operation, guest experience and performance of the restaurant at Anantara Downtown Dubai, ensuring consistently high standards in line with Forbes Travel Guide, LQA and hotel brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service while maintaining a strong floor presence.
• Coach the team on luxury service, guest engagement, service recovery and attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with Forbes, LQA, brand, HACCP and hygiene standards.
• Drive restaurant revenue through upselling, average check improvement and cost control.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, productivity and team performance.
• Coordinate with Culinary, Stewarding and other hotel departments to maintain operational standards.
• Handle guest feedback and complaints professionally, implementing effective recovery actions.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality or related field.
• 3–5 years’ F&B experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant.
• Previous restaurant management experience with strong knowledge of Forbes Travel Guide and LQA standards.
• Good understanding of HACCP, food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Strong guest service, leadership and communication skills.
• Commercial awareness with knowledge of revenue and cost control.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
