Retail Planner – Planning & Merchandising

About the role

We are looking for a Planner to join the Planning & Merchandising team of Majid Al Futtaim LifeStyle. The role supports the Senior Planner and Planning Manager in analysing sales, margin and inventory data to ensure the right products are available at the right time across our retail network.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse multi‑dimensional plans covering sales trends, gross margin and inventory.
• Collaborate with Buying and Store teams to optimise product allocation, replenishment and store transfers.
• Monitor line and category performance, manage sell‑through, markdowns and end‑of‑season clearance.
• Produce weekly sales, stock and intake summaries (WSSI) and flag risks to profit or stock targets.
• Track customer profiles, trends and preferences to inform product and stock decisions.
• Maintain strong inter‑departmental relationships and ensure timely delivery of stock through logistics coordination.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Business, Finance or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a Planner role within a retail environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and inventory data.
• Excellent command of English (fluent).
