Revenue Manager – Hotel

About the role

The Revenue Manager will lead pricing strategy, inventory control and revenue optimisation for the hotel. Working closely with sales, marketing and operations, the role ensures maximum profit potential while maintaining market competitiveness.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market trends and demand patterns to develop pricing strategies and manage inventory for optimal revenue.
• Monitor and adjust revenue strategies continuously, tracking KPIs such as ADR, RevPAR, occupancy and market share.
• Identify new revenue opportunities by collaborating with sales and marketing on promotional packages, new products and services.
• Oversee distribution channels—including OTAs, direct bookings and partners—managing rates, availability and inventory across all platforms.
• Maintain strong relationships with external partners such as travel agencies and corporate accounts to maximise revenue.
• Provide regular analysis and reporting on revenue and profit performance to hotel management and stakeholders.
• Implement and maintain revenue management systems and tools for accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Forecast future demand using historical data and market trends, adjusting pricing and inventory accordingly.
• Develop and deliver training programmes for hotel staff to improve revenue management practices.
• Lead the hotel’s budgeting process and supply regular financial analysis to the management team.
