Sales Advisor

About the role

Al Tayer Motors is looking for a Sales Advisor in Dubai. The advisor plans, initiates and runs the sales process with customers visiting the showroom or contacted by sales calls, and contributes to achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out sales according to pre-agreed monthly targets and budgets.
• Prepare and maintain visit and call reports, reporting weekly and monthly on performance against targets and budget.
• Attend to showroom visitors, understand their needs and give qualified advice on product specifications.
• Maintain close contact with prospects, make sales calls and visits, introduce and follow up suitable prospects, and build the prospect list.
• Keep the customer database up to date and stay aware of competitors in this car segment.
• Ensure pre-delivery inspections, accurate recording of all vehicle transactions, and registration with the traffic department and invoicing.
• Inform customers of delays or changes in requirements so the handover goes smoothly.
• Advise customers on available extras, accessories, warranties, and on vehicle finance and insurance options.
• Take part in seasonal sales campaigns and promotions.

Required profile

• Degree in any discipline or completion of an automotive vocational route.
• 3 to 5 years of solid experience in fleet sales in the GCC market.
• Good knowledge of automobile sales gained through formal training or work experience; bilingual Arabic and English preferred.
• Attention to detail, concern for quality, and a dynamic, proactive personality.
