Sales Advisor - Used Vehicles

About the role

CARIVA is looking for a Sales Advisor to drive used vehicle sales. The role guides customers through the buying journey, from vehicle assessment and recommendation through negotiation, financing coordination and after-sale follow-up. It suits a self-driven, customer-focused person who can build trust quickly, close deals and contribute to the dealership's marketing and inventory.

Key responsibilities

• Engage potential buyers in person, by phone and online, listening to their budget, needs and preferences to recommend suitable vehicles
• Deliver confident, well-structured sales pitches that highlight each vehicle's value and address objections
• Negotiate pricing, trade-in values and financing options while meeting profit margin targets
• Guide customers from inquiry and test drive to final paperwork, building trust and encouraging referrals
• Inspect used vehicles for condition, mileage and service history to determine value accurately
• Maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory record of availability, condition and pricing
• Promote listings on social media and online, take part in local events, and monitor competitors' pricing and promotions
• Work with the finance team so transactions and paperwork are completed accurately and on time
• Follow up with customers after the sale to gather feedback and nurture long-term relationships

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or an automotive-related field
• At least 2 years of experience in used automobile sales, preferably in a used car showroom
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Fluent English; spoken Malayalam and Hindi required
• Valid UAE driver's license

Required skills

• CRM software for managing leads and customer information
• Basic working knowledge of AI tools for sales and admin tasks
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, go-getter attitude and teamwork
