Sales Associate

About the role

Koton AG Trading is looking for a Sales Associate in Abu Dhabi. The role represents the brand by maximising sales within the store through excellent customer service and retail experience, while carrying out operational duties such as store maintenance and visual presentation standards as assigned by the store manager or assistant store manager.

Key responsibilities

• Customer service: greet customers, help them choose the right products, convert window shoppers into buyers, promote the Club Apparel Loyalty Program and follow the GUEST selling guideline (Greet, Understand, Explain, Sell, Thank)
• Stay updated on the group's brands to suggest products, and keep a presentable appearance and up-to-date product knowledge
• Merchandise: display stock neatly according to standard layout norms, follow VM guidelines and clearance stock norms, and record inventory movements
• POS and billing: handle the Point of Sale counter efficiently, count cash at the start and end of shifts, issue receipts, refunds and change, and process cash, card, voucher and debit payments
• Security and compliance: stay vigilant for security issues, follow SOPs and loss prevention policies, and keep sales figures confidential
• Flexibility to work extended hours during sales periods and varied shifts and overtime as required
