Sales Associate (Retail)

About the role

The Sales Associate will deliver an excellent in‑store customer experience while supporting the achievement of sales targets. You will understand customer needs, recommend suitable products, and maintain strong product knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, identify their needs, and provide product information, cross‑selling and upselling where appropriate.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, keep the store clean and organized, and manage stock processes.
• Operate the POS system, process transactions, returns and exchanges, and handle cash and card payments in line with company policies.
• Participate in team meetings, sales huddles and product knowledge sessions, and communicate feedback to the Store Manager.

Required profile

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience, preferably in premium marine, sports or lifestyle environments.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proactive, confident approach to selling and achieving targets.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied shifts.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or Russian is a plus.

Required skills

• Good product‑learning ability and willingness to develop knowledge of marine and leisure products.
• Basic knowledge of POS systems, cash handling and retail store operations.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
