Sales Associate – Retail

About the role

The Sales Associate will deliver an excellent in‑store customer experience while supporting the achievement of sales targets for Al Boom Marine’s retail division.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, identify their needs, provide product information, and achieve individual and store‑level sales targets.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, keep the store clean and organized, and handle stock management tasks such as receiving, price‑tagging, and inventory audits.
• Operate the POS system efficiently, process transactions, returns and exchanges, and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Participate in team meetings, sales huddles and product knowledge sessions, and communicate feedback to the Store Manager.

Required profile

• Previous retail sales or customer service experience, preferably in a premium marine, sports or lifestyle environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive, sales‑driven attitude.
• Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied shifts.
• Fluency in English; Arabic or Russian is a plus.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to quickly learn product information and recommend suitable items.
