Sales Coordinator – Groups & Events

About the role

The Sales Coordinator – Groups & Events will support the efficient operation of the sales department at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, ensuring alignment with Hyatt’s corporate strategies and brand standards while meeting guest and owner expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Handle all leads from the sales team and direct client inquiries for group and banqueting requests.
• Maintain close relationships with clients from proposal to on‑site liaison between the hotel and organizer.
• Liaise with sales account managers on corporate or group issues, ensuring internal communication.
• Review weekly function bookings to confirm that all business is live, tracked, and confirmed.
• Develop professional conference and incentive sales proposals that win business for Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi.
• Use Opera and Envision systems to check reservations, room type and function space availability.
• Apply correct booking procedures for group room allocations, meeting set‑ups, catering terms and contractual agreements.
• Ensure events are delivered innovatively and stylishly, reflecting positively on the brand.
• Attend and participate in site inspections and entertain potential and current customers based on business priorities.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in hotel operations.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a professional appearance.
• Previous experience as a Sales Coordinator, especially within the GCC region, is an added benefit.
