Sales Development Representative - South Asia Market

About the role

BytePlus, part of ByteDance, is looking for a Sales Development Representative / Inside Sales Specialist for the South Asia market. The role works closely with Marketing, Solution and User Growth teams to collect and organize sales leads that fit the company's Tech2B products, and to grade and distribute them to sales representatives in a timely way.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline
• Conduct high-level conversations with business owners in prospect accounts
• Achieve monthly and quarterly quotas on meetings generated and qualified opportunities
• Develop sales skills, market understanding, solutions knowledge and customer approach
• Attend regular training and coaching and adopt proven selling methodology

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in technology-related business development, SDR/inside sales or lead generation
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Fluent English and comfort with cold calling and professional sales pitches
• Metrics-driven, goal-oriented and adaptable to change
• Experience in a B2B environment, preferably with high-tech products or services
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment

Required skills

• Preferred: knowledge of or passion for AI, SaaS, PaaS or IaaS
• Preferred: experience in high-growth or international markets
• Preferred: use of tools such as Outreach, SalesLoft, Salesforce, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or ZoomInfo
