Sales Engineer – Marine Systems

About the role

The Sales Engineer – Marine Systems will act as the bridge between engineering solutions and customer requirements across the United Arab Emirates region. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will promote Trelleborg Marine Systems’ marine fender solutions, understand technical and commercial needs, and deliver tailored, value‑driven engineered proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Regional Manager in driving sales and marketing of marine fender solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regional partners, consultants, agents, industry bodies and end‑users.
• Attend and coordinate strategic events such as conferences, seminars and local advertising initiatives.
• Convert leads and inquiries into quotation opportunities and subsequently into sales orders to meet regional targets.
• Provide market, political, economic and competitor feedback to management.
• Ensure complete and accurate CRM data entry for all activities.
• Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams to assess requirements and recommend optimal solutions.

Required profile

• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented professional with at least 36 months of relevant experience.
• Strong professionalism, adaptability and problem‑solving abilities.
