Sales Executive – Events

About the role

Join AccorHotel in Dubai as a Sales Executive – Events, driving event business for a leading hotel within the Accor network. You will manage enquiries from corporate meetings to social celebrations, creating proposals and converting leads into confirmed bookings.

Key responsibilities

• Own event enquiries and manage leads from qualification to booking.
• Create accurate proposals covering venue, catering, AV, guestroom needs and event packages.
• Quote according to approved rates, identify upselling opportunities and protect commercial value.
• Host client visits, conduct venue showrounds and detailed needs‑assessment meetings.
• Prepare contracts, booking documentation, deposits and coordinate payment milestones with Finance.
• Hand over confirmed events to Event Planning/Operations with complete requirements.
• Develop relationships with corporate bookers and planners to generate repeat business.
• Maintain forecast discipline by updating enquiry status, conversion rates and utilisation in systems.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in hotel events sales, banqueting sales, MICE or comparable venue‑sales role.
• Strong customer‑service mindset with commercial instinct and confidence to close business.
• Excellent coordination, attention to detail and ability to handle multiple enquiries in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent professional English, spoken and written; additional languages are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with hotel sales, events or CRM systems.
