Sales Executive - SaaS Sponsorship Sales (Fully Remote)

About the role

Referment is working with an established B2B events and insights business that connects solution providers with senior decision-makers at medium and large enterprises. It is looking for a Sales Executive with proven SaaS sales experience who wants to develop their career. The role is fully remote and involves selling sponsorship opportunities across a regular programme of events.

The recruiter is especially interested in candidates currently selling marketing software, customer data platforms, CRM or sales technology who want to apply their enterprise sales experience in a different market.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new-business opportunities through outreach and lead generation.
• Understand prospects' target markets, commercial objectives and buying criteria.
• Pitch relevant sponsorship opportunities to senior stakeholders.
• Manage the sales process from qualification through negotiation and close.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline and deliver against agreed targets.

Required profile

• Experience selling SaaS solutions to medium and large enterprises, with genuine responsibility for closing deals.
• Able to explain performance through quota attainment, deal sizes and conversion rates.
• Demonstrates career stability and longevity, with a proven track record of commitment and sustained results.
• Previous remote-working experience is welcome but not essential.

Required skills

• Sales approach suited to SaaS, ideally with experience using MEDDIC.
• Experience managing sales cycles of six months or less is particularly relevant.
