Sales Manager – Branch Operations

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the branch’s sales performance, ensuring monthly, quarterly and annual targets are met for both new and pre‑owned vehicle business. The role combines strategic planning, financial oversight, operational excellence and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Execute branch sales strategy to achieve defined targets.
• Prepare, monitor and control the branch budget, operating expenses and profitability.
• Optimize resource allocation and drive add‑on product sales to increase margins.
• Oversee daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, OEM standards and HSSE mandates.
• Manage showroom inventory, display standards and vehicle availability.
• Recruit, train and retain high‑performing frontline and support staff.
• Support the Head of Sales with training and development initiatives.
• Implement customer relationship strategies to boost sales, retention and loyalty.
• Monitor daily activities, track performance metrics and apply corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Aftersales to enhance customer experience and operational synergy.
• Resolve customer complaints and escalations promptly.
• Conduct regular audits, enforce security protocols and protect branch assets.
• Produce accurate and timely reports on sales, forecasts, inventory and financial data.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead sales teams and achieve revenue targets.
• Experience in budgeting, cost control and financial performance management.
• Strong knowledge of automotive retail operations and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated skills in recruiting, training and developing staff.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with aftersales and other internal functions.
