Sales Merchandiser - Frozen Food

About the role

A full-time Sales Merchandiser is needed in the UAE to support product visibility, availability, merchandising standards and sales growth across assigned retail outlets. The role covers frozen food products and involves visiting stores on a planned route and working closely with store managers and retail staff.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned retail outlets according to the planned route and ensure proper product display, shelf placement, visibility and availability.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid out-of-stock situations.
• Implement planograms, promotional displays and merchandising guidelines.
• Build strong relationships with store managers and retail staff and support sales activities to increase product movement.
• Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, displays and market activity.
• Check product expiry dates, damaged stock and merchandising compliance.
• Maintain accurate daily visit, stock, sales and competitor reports.
• Coordinate with sales, warehouse and distribution teams for stock availability.
• Support promotional campaigns, product launches and in-store activations, and help achieve assigned sales and merchandising targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in sales merchandising, retail merchandising or FMCG sales preferred.
• Good understanding of retail operations and merchandising standards.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills; able to work independently and manage multiple outlets.
• Target-oriented with good sales and negotiation skills.
• UAE retail or FMCG market experience is an advantage; a UAE driving licence is preferred where the role involves many store visits.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and sales reporting.
• Sales merchandising, visual merchandising, planogram implementation and stock management.
• Competitor analysis, route planning and trade marketing execution.
