Sales Representative – Cardiometabolic (UAE)

About the role

Novartis is seeking a Sales Representative to promote its Cardiometabolic therapeutic area in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role focuses on executing in‑field commercial strategies for priority brands, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and ensuring compliant, high‑quality customer engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Execute territory plans and in‑field commercial activities for assigned priority brands, aligned with brand strategy and business objectives.
• Deliver compliant product promotion and customer engagement using approved messages, materials, and digital tools.
• Apply customer segmentation, value‑based targeting, call planning, and personalized omnichannel engagement.
• Communicate relevant clinical data, evidence, and appropriate product use as a trusted therapeutic area partner.
• Generate demand and achieve agreed sales objectives within the territory.
• Collect, interpret, and share field insights on customer needs, market dynamics, competitor activity, and territory priorities.
• Participate in local events, meetings, and promotional activities in line with governance, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Medical, Value & Access, and Execution Excellence teams.

Required profile

• Degree or education in a relevant discipline.
• Solid understanding of the UAE market; Abu Dhabi‑based candidates preferred.
• Experience in cardiometabolic therapeutic area preferred.
• Proven track record of successful performance.
• Strong communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
• Experience managing and engaging therapeutic area medical experts (TMEs).
