About the role
Fortes Education is seeking a qualified Science Cover Teacher to join Sunmarke School on an immediate basis. The successful candidate will step in to deliver science lessons across key stages, ensuring continuity of learning for our students.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the science curriculum in accordance with the National Curriculum of England, IGCSE and A‑Level requirements.
- Prepare and adapt lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Assess student progress and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment.
Required profile
- Qualified teacher with a recognized teaching certification.
- Experience teaching science at primary or secondary level.
- Ability to start immediately.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of the science curriculum (National Curriculum of England, IGCSE, A‑Level).
- Effective classroom management.
- Lesson planning and assessment skills.
