Secondary ICT Teacher – CBSE Curriculum

About the role

We are looking for a passionate ICT Teacher to join our dynamic CBSE secondary school in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves delivering the ICT curriculum, preparing lesson plans, and supporting student development in technology.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate teaching and learning of ICT in line with the CBSE curriculum and examination requirements.
• Prepare schemes of work, assessment tasks, and detailed daily and weekly lesson plans.
• Promote active learning, critical thinking, problem‑solving and creativity among students.
• Manage class teacher responsibilities, focusing on student enrichment and academic progress.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and students as an effective team player.
• Demonstrate strong IT and interpersonal communication skills to support teaching and learning.
• Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school (UAE experience preferred).
• Excellent communication, organisational and classroom management abilities.
• Passion for student development and continuous professional growth.
