Security Threat & Risk Specialist

About the role

Join the Emirates Group Security team as a Security Threat & Risk Specialist, focusing on physical security across the airline’s global operations. You will lead risk assessments, investigate incidents and help shape proactive security strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare data‑driven security risk assessments for all Emirates Group operations and recommend mitigation measures.
• Investigate incidents, liaise with authorities, and conduct site visits to high‑risk stations.
• Review security audit reports, rank residual risk, and support contingency planning for conflict‑prone locations.
• Provide guidance to other Emirates departments and act as interim Threat and Risk Assessment Manager when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least 5 years of experience in security, safety, risk assessment or intelligence.
• Strong knowledge of aviation security frameworks and regulations (ICAO, Annex 17, Doc 8973, Doc 10084).
• Proven ability to conduct detailed safety risk assessments and analyse vulnerabilities objectively.
• Awareness of geo‑political developments and regional conflicts.
