Senior Account Manager - Shopper Marketing

About the role

PMG, a creative and marketing agency founded in 1996 with offices in Sydney and Dubai, is growing its team in the Middle East and is hiring a Senior Account Manager in Dubai. Reporting to the Group Account Director, the role manages a portfolio of key accounts with a focus on shopper marketing strategy and retail trade activations, in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen and grow relationships with key clients and stakeholders
• Take client briefs and lead the development of creative and strategic solutions, working with Account Directors, Account Managers and the design team
• Bring market, shopper and category insight to every brief
• Grow key accounts and give strategic input into campaign development
• Keep clients and internal and external stakeholders aligned on goals, timelines and budgets
• Manage the flow of work across teams to deliver creative, strategy, POS, marketing collateral and premiums
• Plan and deliver events, including product launches and brand activations
• Ensure every job meets an impeccable standard
• Lead and take part in client presentations and respond to briefs, concepts and new initiatives
• Support and mentor team members and build strong working relationships across the agency

Required profile

• 4+ years' experience as an Account Manager in a marketing or creative agency, ideally in Shopper or Trade Marketing
• Extensive shopper marketing experience, from strategy through to execution
• Experience managing events from start to finish
• Strong understanding of consumer and shopper purchasing behaviour
• Positive, passionate and a great communicator, with initiative and willingness to support colleagues
• Highly organised, detail focused, quick to respond and able to prioritise well
• Collaboration across teams is central to the role

Preferred: GCC market experience; Arabic is an advantage.
