Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to lead finance operations for a growing organisation with activities in Dubai and Sudan. The role will combine management reporting, cost analysis and strategic financial partnering to drive performance across regional entities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts, financial reports and performance analysis.
• Conduct budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Lead product costing, profitability analysis and cost‑control initiatives.
• Support month‑end closing, reconciliations and ensure compliance with reporting standards.
• Collaborate with operations and procurement teams to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Assist audits, maintain internal controls and meet regulatory requirements.
• Develop financial dashboards and management reporting using ERP systems and Power BI.
• Perform financial modelling, pricing analysis and investment evaluations.

Required profile

• CMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in accounting, costing and management reporting.
• Background in manufacturing, trading or service sectors.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, forecasting, costing and profitability analysis.
• Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, Power BI and Excel.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willingness to travel periodically to Sudan and support multiple entities.
