About the role
A client based in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Senior Accountant. The position is on-site and requires 3 to 5 years of experience.
Key responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and the general ledger.
- Prepare financial statements and monthly reports.
- Handle bank, supplier and customer reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns in line with FTA regulations.
- Record and verify financial transactions using Odoo ERP.
- Monitor cash flow, payments, collections and expenses.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support audits.
Required profile
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and FTA requirements.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial companies is an advantage.
Required skills
- Mandatory hands-on experience with Odoo ERP.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting.
