Senior Accountant (Multi‑currency, CPA)

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing global finance firm, is looking for a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of accounting and finance operations for multi‑currency entities. The role involves managing the complete accounting cycle, preparing financial statements and supporting investor reporting in a dynamic financial‑services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the full accounting cycle for one or more entities, including journal entries, general‑ledger reconciliations, month‑end and year‑end close.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for multi‑currency entities.
• Reconcile cash and multi‑currency accounts and monitor daily cash movements.
• Prepare investor performance reports.
• Manage external audit and tax processes, liaising with auditors and tax advisors and providing supporting schedules.
• Implement, maintain and improve accounting systems and processes (QuickBooks, Xero, Airtable, Excel/Google Sheets integrations).
• Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and regulatory requirements.
• Provide analytical insights and ad‑hoc support to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Active CPA license in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience.
• Experience handling multi‑currency entities with assets of USD 3‑5 million per month.
• Proven ability to manage audit and tax engagements.
