Senior Analyst, Trading Control

About the role

The Senior Analyst – Trading Control will ensure the smooth operation of daily trading sessions on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange. You will be responsible for monitoring trading activities, onboarding new brokerage houses, and supporting post‑trade processes while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily trading control tasks, verify maker‑checker readiness, and address any irregularities or anomalies.
• Monitor new listings, trade corrections, and index changes to ensure compliance with SCA and ADX regulations.
• Facilitate onboarding of brokerage houses, prepare documentation, and assist with platform integration.
• Respond to broker inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and escalate unresolved matters as needed.
• Own negotiated deals and large block trades, ensuring all regulatory conditions are met.
• Coordinate post‑trade activities and support integration with AD CSD and AD Clear.
• Contribute to market development by analysing existing products, proposing enhancements, and supporting innovation initiatives.
• Lead testing and implementation of system improvements to enhance trading efficiency and reliability.
• Maintain a comprehensive audit trail and produce accurate reports in line with department standards.
