Senior Associate – ERS GRC (Telecom Experience Preferred)

About the role

KPMG Middle East is seeking a Senior Associate to contribute technically to advisory engagements focused on risk, governance, compliance and internal audit within the telecom sector. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to identify and address control gaps and governance issues.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct COSO‑aligned risk assessments, ICFR testing and internal audit programs to identify design and operating gaps.
• Prepare and present clear reports on findings, remediation actions and governance recommendations to senior management and board committees.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures and control frameworks for corporate governance, ERM and internal audit.
• Support the preparation of corporate governance statements, annual reports and regulatory disclosures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business or related field.
• 2‑4 years of relevant experience in audit, risk, compliance or governance, preferably in telecom.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, ICAEW, CIA, CRMA, CRICS or ACAMS.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of data analytics concepts.
