Senior Bartender

About the role

A growing Middle Eastern retail group, represented by WhiteCrow Research, is hiring a Senior Bartender in Dubai. The role covers bar service, cocktail preparation, inventory and bar operations, with a focus on knowledge-based service and safe alcohol service.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and meet guests' needs, provide bar service, recommend drinks and upsell where appropriate
• Mix cocktails and other drinks to recipe, curate fine-beverage recipes and recommend wine and food pairings
• Upsell beverages based on guests' needs and choices
• Support other bartenders and ensure drinks transactions are processed, registered and settled
• Set up the bar, arrange bottles and glasses and display merchandise attractively
• Carry out opening, closing and cleaning tasks, coordinate with stewards on hygiene and glassware availability
• Oversee bar inventory, check expiry dates and record perishable garnishes
• Complete daily, weekly and monthly checklists and highlight beverage replenishments to the manager or team leader
• Serve alcohol responsibly in line with group policy and regulations, and handle guest complaints through team leaders
• Follow HACCP, F&B SOPs and health, safety and environment procedures

Required profile

• Higher Secondary School certificate
• Basic Food and Hygiene training
• 2 to 3 years of bartending experience in the international hospitality industry
