Senior BIM/CAD Modeler – Telecoms

About the role

Parsons is seeking a Senior BIM/CAD Modeler specialized in telecoms to support the development and coordination of telecommunications and dry utilities BIM/CAD deliverables for infrastructure projects in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare telecom and dry utilities engineering drawings, routing plans, utility corridor layouts, duct bank arrangements, CCTV and GSM tower layouts.
• Develop and maintain 3D models for telecom and utility infrastructure and participate in model coordination activities.
• Perform clash detection and resolution with multidisciplinary teams to ensure constructability.
• Prepare ISP and OSP routing plans, fiber optic network layouts, and associated infrastructure documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to ensure accurate, compliant, and high‑quality project deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 + years of experience in telecommunications and/or dry utilities design and drafting.
• Advanced proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling environments.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, utility coordination requirements, and construction documentation.

Required skills

• AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit
• ProjectWise for document management
• Clash detection and resolution in BIM workflows
• Knowledge of fiber optic networks, duct banks, manholes, CCTV systems, GSM infrastructure
