Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative - Cardio

About the role

Amgen is looking for a Senior Biopharmaceutical Representative in the cardiovascular field based in Dubai. The role promotes Amgen's products and communicates key messages by working with partners to serve patients.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the manager to develop and implement territory and key account plans, and review progress against them monthly with agreed course corrections
• Contribute to cluster, territory, marketing, medical affairs/value and access teams to agree on key account objectives and responsibilities
• Engage with peers, the district manager and cross-functional teams to improve product knowledge
• Follow through on customer commitments and requests in a timely way, and report customer activity in the CRM system while keeping customer profiles up to date
• Use the Amgen performance selling platform to meet customer and Amgen needs, stay within the agreed expense budget and seek input to prioritize activities
• Continuously develop product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and agreed training programs

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; a degree in life sciences or biomedical sciences is preferred
• Demonstrated experience in a pharmaceutical sales role with a track record of consistent results; 2-6 years of experience preferred
• Experience in cardiovascular, endocrinology or biotechnology is preferred
• Fluency in English, oral and written
• UAE-resident with a transferable residency and a valid driving licence preferred

• Preferred: knowledge of CRM principles, exposure to project management, and high learning agility
