Senior Civil Design Engineer - Solar PV

About the role

PowerChina JEPCC is hiring a Senior Civil Design Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in utility-scale, ground-mounted Solar PV projects to join its Engineering Design Team in Dubai. The role covers groundworks and infrastructure for projects across the Middle East, Africa and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Site grading, terrain development and land preparation
• Cut and fill calculations and earthworks design
• Access roads and internal infrastructure design
• Stormwater drainage and underground utilities
• Foundations, groundworks and detailed civil engineering design
• Independently prepare and deliver complete EPC/EPCM civil design packages

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Proven civil design experience in utility-scale Solar PV projects
• Ability to independently handle detailed engineering design and calculations
• UAE/GCC and international EPC project experience preferred

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
• Civil 3D is an advantage
