Senior Civil Inspector

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Inspector to join its Construction Supervision team on a major infrastructure project involving roads and utilities in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all construction works comply strictly with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Inspect civil works, report non‑conformances, and coordinate with the contractor’s Engineer.
• Process and track Inspection Requests, maintaining records of approvals and rejections.
• Coordinate sampling, testing, and QA/QC verification of materials with inspectors and laboratories.
• Verify line, level, and grade with surveyors for ongoing and completed works.
• Maintain detailed daily site diaries, including activities, issues, manpower, and equipment records.
• Support quantity measurements for Day Works where applicable.
• Interface with adjacent stakeholders to minimize construction impacts.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and promote safe work practices on site.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure construction supervision, preferably roads and utilities.
• Strong ability to interpret and enforce engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Excellent inspection, reporting, and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities within a site‑based construction environment.
