Senior Commercial Manager / Associate Commercial Director

About the role

PMKConsult, an award‑winning project, commercial and design management consultancy, is seeking a senior leader to drive commercial and contract management for major projects in the UAE. The role spans pre‑contract cost planning through post‑contract administration, requiring strong strategic and analytical capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead commercial and contract management across pre‑ and post‑contract stages for large‑scale projects.
• Oversee cost planning, estimating and pricing from feasibility to contract award, ensuring market alignment.
• Price and review BOQs, tenders, preliminaries and risk allowances, and challenge contractor pricing.
• Direct procurement and tendering strategy, analysis, negotiation and award recommendations.
• Advise clients on procurement and contract strategy, including risk allocation.

Required profile

• RICS‑accredited degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related field.
• Chartered MRICS or FRICS (essential) with 10+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in the UAE or GCC, leading pre‑contract functions on major projects.
• Proven expertise in FIDIC contracts, UAE Civil Code, claims, EOTs and dispute avoidance.
