Senior Construction Engineer (AOI) – I&C

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Senior Construction Engineer (AOI) – I&C to lead technical and field construction activities for instrumentation and control systems on an offshore oil & gas project in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical and field construction leadership for installation, inspection, testing, completion and hand‑over of I&C systems within the assigned Area of Installation/Interest.
• Coordinate I&C work with mechanical, piping, electrical, structural and civil activities, ensuring compliance with engineering documents, codes, standards and offshore operating constraints.
• Supervise installation of field instruments, control valves, shutdown valves and actuators, and support construction management to meet project milestones.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics, Electrical or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of experience, including at least 5 years on offshore projects, with strong brownfield, shutdown and tie‑in exposure.
• Previous offshore oil & gas construction experience, preferably with PMC/EPC firms; ADNOC offshore experience is an advantage.
