Senior Dairy Trader

About the role

We are an award‑winning ingredients supplier operating across the Middle East and Africa. We are looking for a seasoned Senior Dairy Trader who can drive growth, manage a profitable portfolio and lead a high‑performing sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Own the dairy trade portfolio, including full P&L responsibility and annual budgeting.
• Procure and sell a range of food commodities such as milk powder, butter, cheese, whey protein, tomato paste and other dairy derivatives.
• Expand the product range by collaborating with principals and the technical team.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships across the portfolio.
• Lead online auction activities.
• Coach, mentor and manage the sales team to achieve targets.
• Work with cross‑functional teams on market strategy, innovation and supplier management.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in trading/agro‑commodities in the region, with at least 8 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of managing a divisional P&L, growth planning and forecasting.
• Deep knowledge of food and agro‑trading business.
• Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic or other languages are a plus.
• Demonstrated coaching and mentoring style.
