Senior Development Manager

About the role

The Senior Development Manager will drive profitable restaurant expansion for KFC in Dubai, overseeing new store pipelines, remodels, and relocations while partnering closely with franchisees and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and monitor the new store pipeline, ensuring timely delivery and communicating progress to stakeholders.
• Validate location and asset choices based on competition, trade zones, and customer behavior.
• Collaborate with franchisees, real‑estate, construction, design, operations, and equipment teams to enhance both quantity and quality of openings.
• Lead remodels and relocations to keep the restaurant portfolio fresh and aligned with market changes.
• Develop and deliver tools, training, and best‑practice sharing to strengthen franchisee capabilities.
• Steer suppliers, vendors, and consultants to meet expansion timelines and profitability targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
• 8+ years of business development experience in retail with proven real‑estate expertise.
• Strong commercial acumen, project‑management skills, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, critical‑thinking, and analytical abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
