About the role
Penspen is seeking a Senior Engineer, Construction – Civil & Structural for a PMC project in Abu Dhabi. The role involves overseeing structural works, approving submittals, managing RFIs, inspecting completed work, and ensuring project compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee structural works on site.
- Approve technical submittals.
- Manage Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Inspect completed work to verify quality.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Required profile
- Engineering degree in Civil or a related field from a recognized university.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience, including at least 10 years on mega oil and gas processing projects.
- 15 years of structural engineering experience with a strong focus on construction supervision in the UAE.
Required skills
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, and STAAD.Pro.
- Experience in technical submittal reviews.
- Contractor claims management.
- Site inspection and supervision.
- ADNOC project experience (advantageous).
