Senior Engineer – Governance Standards

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Engineer to lead governance standards for workplace technology within a large enterprise environment in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

Key responsibilities

• Define, implement and maintain technical standards, policies and configuration baselines for endpoint and collaboration platforms.
• Document standards, guidelines and technical notes to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
• Interpret and apply security and compliance requirements to workplace technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in Workplace Technology / End‑User Computing / IT Infrastructure, with at least 3 years focused on governance, standards or architecture.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft 365, ITIL Foundation, CISSP or equivalent.

Required skills

• Endpoint platforms: Windows 10/11, macOS, mobile operating systems.
• Collaboration tools: Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, email platforms.
• Endpoint management: Intune, SCCM, JAMF or equivalent.
• Security controls: AV, EDR, encryption, patching.
• Identity and access management: Azure AD, SSO, MFA.
• ITIL processes: Change, Incident, Problem, Configuration Management.
