Senior Engineer, Project Planning

About the role

Senior Engineer, Project Planning within ADNOC’s Technical Projects Division, responsible for leading project engineering activities across the full lifecycle from concept through to hand‑over, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and cost compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support execution of projects through FEED, detailed engineering, construction and commissioning phases.
• Develop and review Statements of Requirement and project execution strategies, and support tender preparation.
• Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders including engineering, operations, licensors, contractors and vendors.
• Control contractor performance, costs and invoices, evaluate claims and manage variations.
• Conduct risk analysis, HSE reviews and ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and Value Assurance Process.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in project engineering across FEED, EPC and commissioning phases.
• In‑depth knowledge of oil & gas facilities, brownfield projects and plant modifications.
• Proven experience in contractor coordination, project monitoring and risk assessment.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information effectively.
