Senior Engineer, Well Completions

About the role

ADNOC is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead well completion activities for onshore gas projects. The role focuses on preparing, optimizing, and executing drilling, completion, and work‑over procedures while ensuring compliance with ADNOC technical, operational, and HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize well trajectories, profiles, drill strings, and bottom‑hole assemblies.
• Plan and oversee completion operations on rigs, including wellhead casing and cementing programs.
• Evaluate well designs for cost‑effective solutions and risk mitigation.
• Review under‑performing wells and propose remedial actions to restore productivity.
• Coordinate with drilling, subsurface, and vendor teams throughout the well life‑cycle.
• Prepare rig mobilization/demobilization plans and well abandonment programs with cost estimates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering.
• Minimum four years of experience in drilling operations, including at least two years in a similar well‑completion role.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
