Senior FF&E Designer (Hospitality)

About the role

Kristina Zanic Consultants is seeking a Senior FF&E Designer to lead the interior furnishings and equipment design for high‑profile hospitality projects across the United Arab Emirates. The role combines creative concept development with detailed specification and coordination to deliver luxury interiors that align with client visions and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present FF&E concepts, mood boards, and design narratives for prestigious hospitality projects.
• Select, specify, and source FF&E, finishes, hardware, and sanitaryware in line with project vision, budget, and schedule.
• Lead the creation of FF&E specification books and coordinate with documenters for cost control and scheduling.
• Collaborate with the broader design team to ensure seamless integration of FF&E with overall project concepts.
• Manage projects independently and support the FF&E Director/Associate on larger initiatives.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors, presenting design schemes and overseeing delivery.
• Review shop drawings, prototypes, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with design intent.
• Mentor junior designers and uphold company FF&E standards.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and maintain relationships with international suppliers to source innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of FF&E design experience, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Strong creative design sensibility with an exceptional eye for detail and material storytelling.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
