Senior Field Engineer

About the role

The Senior Field Engineer will lead on‑site activities for offshore construction projects, ensuring that mobilisation plans are executed on schedule and that all technical and safety standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Review and implement mobilisation plans, compiling and issuing work packages and project documentation.
• Coordinate daily activities between departments, foremen, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Control material flow, expedite supplies, and manage equipment and consumables.
• Monitor offshore installation progress, prepare daily and field engineer reports, and flag any issues that could impact the schedule.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, company policies, and the Code of Conduct.
• Support senior engineers and project managers, train junior engineers, and liaise with the Engineering Department for as‑built mark‑ups.
• Participate in site certification, lessons‑learned documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• B.Sc. in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore construction.
• Strong English communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Willingness to work both onshore and offshore.
• Good understanding of personnel and equipment management in offshore environments.
