Senior Finance Manager – Factory Operations

About the role

GMG is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead finance operations at its factory in Dubai. The role is hands‑on, providing day‑to‑day financial support to manufacturing while ensuring compliance with group policies.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain strict adherence to GMG Group finance policies, internal controls and governance at the factory level.
• Oversee month‑end close, journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations and timely financial reporting.
• Monitor key financial metrics such as cost per unit, yield, wastage and variances, and flag risks or opportunities.
• Drive cost‑optimization initiatives across materials, labour and overheads, and support budget tracking.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring zero compliance gaps and timely closure of findings.
• Develop and manage the factory finance team, allocating work and ensuring high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance management within a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, audit processes and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to analyse production costs, variances and drive efficiency improvements.
• Leadership experience with a track record of developing finance teams.
