Senior Finance Specialist - Accounting

About the role

PxGeo is seeking a Senior Finance Specialist – Accounting to join its Dubai office. The role involves maintaining accurate accounting records, preparing reconciliations and financial reports, and supporting various finance activities across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain long‑term lease schedules in line with IFRS and support accurate financial reporting.
• Manage the fixed‑asset register and ledger, ensuring timely capitalization and correct asset accounting.
• Support the Finance Manager in preparing internal and external reporting deliverables, including monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Coordinate subsidiary audits, preparing financial statements, supporting schedules and responding to auditor requests.
• Prepare monthly transfer‑pricing calculations and related journal entries.
• Develop and monitor internal controls to mitigate financial reporting and operational risks.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA or CPA) preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent qualification.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, capable of working independently.
• Experience in a multinational environment is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 is advantageous.
