Senior Governance & Standards Specialist (Emirati Talent)

About the role

The Senior Governance & Standards Specialist will support the Governance & Standards department in implementing, maintaining and continuously improving EDGE's Quality Management System (QMS). The role bridges Quality Governance and Manufacturing Operations to ensure ISO 9001, AS9100 and other standards are applied on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Support implementation, certification and continual improvement of the QMS, including gap assessments and road‑maps.
• Develop and maintain Quality Manuals, procedures, work instructions and records.
• Monitor compliance across operational departments, conduct process verification and support process owners with effective controls.
• Lead implementation plans, project schedules and coordinate activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality.
• Act as secondary ISO 9001 focal point, interface with certification bodies, customers and regulators.
• Drive continual improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, APQP, FMEA, SPC and root‑cause analysis.
• Support digitalisation of quality processes through SAP QM and related systems.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Materials Engineering.
• 5‑7 years of operational quality experience with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher.
• ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification.
• Proven experience leading AS9100 certification projects.
• Risk assessment and project management skills.
