About the role
The Senior IT Procurement Officer will manage the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle for the Information Technology department, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Receive RFQs/RFPs from IT requesters, solicit proposals, and negotiate terms with vendors.
- Prepare procurement plans with end users and create contracts for all engagements.
- Issue purchase orders, coordinate vendor registration and account updates, and ensure closure of open PO’s.
- Utilise SAP Ariba for RFPs, contract workspaces, and reverse auctions.
- Lead contract drafting, review, and execution; maintain the contract database and archive procurement files.
Required profile
- Proven IT procurement experience or IT background.
- UAE national (UAE Nationals Only).
- Preferred CIPS qualification or active membership; banking experience is a plus.
Required skills
- SAP Ariba procurement platform.
- RFQ/RFP management and vendor negotiation.
- Contract drafting and review.
