Senior Legal Counsel – Grid Technology

About the role

As a Senior Legal Counsel you will work with a diverse team across the Middle East, handling complex legal matters for Siemens Energy’s Grid Technology business. You will support innovative energy transmission and digital grid projects while ensuring compliance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide trusted legal advice on commercial, trade and contract matters.
• Analyse tenders and contracts, advise proactively and take part in negotiations.
• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations.
• Support claim management and engage external law firms for dispute resolution.
• Contribute to contract standardisation and digitalisation within the global legal community.
• Develop and deliver training on legal processes for key stakeholders.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in a legal department of an international company or reputable law firm, especially on international projects.
• Proven track record of managing legal risks in complex transactions and providing pragmatic advice.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with strong teamwork skills across remote, cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of contract law and international legal practices.
• Experience leading strategic negotiations.
• Ability to manage complex disputes and advise on risk‑resolution strategies.
