Senior Manager - External Audit (UAE National)

Grant Thornton UAE, a large and growing professional services firm with over 750 employees across the UAE, is hiring a Senior Manager for its Audit & Assurance practice in Dubai. The role involves supporting senior colleagues in audit strategy, managing a portfolio, reviewing work, overseeing a team of Senior Associates and Associates, acting as a key client contact and showing interest in business development.

Key responsibilities

• Work strategically with the leadership team to drive the growth of the business
• Build a strong internal and external network to support business development
• Manage a key client portfolio and build strong working relationships with clients
• Lead dealings with large, technically complex clients
• Support the Audit Partner in running the team
• Negotiate client fees per engagement as appropriate
• Take part in the interview process for new hires joining the team
