Senior Manager - Finance (Factory)

About the role

The Senior Manager – Finance (Factory) is responsible for managing end‑to‑end finance operations at the factory level, ensuring robust financial control, accurate reporting, and operational finance support to manufacturing operations. The role is hands‑on and execution‑focused, acting as the key finance partner to Factory Operations while aligning with GMG’s Group finance policies, controls, and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to GMG Group finance policies, internal controls and governance frameworks at the factory level, including inventory, procurement and production costing.
• Oversee factory finance operations such as month‑end close, journal entries, balance‑sheet reconciliations and deliver timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Partner with factory operations to drive cost‑optimization initiatives, analyse production variances and improve margins.
• Lead internal and external audits, safeguard assets through regular reconciliations and support budgeting and variance analysis.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; Master’s degree and professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• 8–12 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment, with strong governance exposure.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
