Senior Manager of Internal Audit Technology

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead the internal audit function for technology at Astra Technologies in Dubai. The role is responsible for delivering risk‑based IT audits, providing assurance on technology risks, and supporting the organization’s governance, cybersecurity and emerging‑technology initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the annual technology audit plan, aligning it with IT governance, cybersecurity and enterprise risk strategies.
• Conduct IT risk assessments, design audit programs, and lead opening meetings with senior IT management.
• Supervise audit teams, review workpapers, and evaluate the effectiveness of IT controls, cloud environments, data‑privacy compliance and cybersecurity measures.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports, present findings to senior management and the Audit & Risk Committee, and follow up on remediation actions.
• Collaborate with IT risk, cybersecurity and other assurance functions to ensure a cohesive approach to IT governance and compliance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading IT audit engagements and managing audit teams.
• Strong understanding of first‑ and second‑line risk management for IT and cybersecurity.
• Ability to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, with a focus on delivering actionable recommendations.
