Senior Marine Projects Specialist (Emirati)

About the role

Join a leading Dubai Government entity as a Senior Marine Projects Specialist within the Public Beaches & Waterways Management team. You will be responsible for planning, delivering and overseeing marine, coastal, waterfront and beach projects across Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the planning and delivery of marine, coastal, waterfront, beach and landscape projects.
• Manage project design, construction, timelines, quality and technical requirements.
• Oversee contractors, consultants and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Administer FIDIC‑based contracts, variations, claims and other contractual matters.
• Ensure compliance with quality, sustainability, HSE and technical standards.
• Monitor progress, budgets, risks and key milestones.
• Provide technical leadership and resolve project‑related challenges.
• Coordinate with internal departments, consultants, contractors and relevant authorities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of engineering/project management experience.
• Experience in coastal, marine, waterfront, beach or related infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, claims and project management processes.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
