About the role
Senior Mechanical Procurement Engineers are needed to manage the full procurement cycle for auxiliary and miscellaneous materials, as well as manpower subcontractors, for projects in Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Handle the complete procurement process including RFQ, quotation comparison, commercial negotiation, order placement, delivery coordination and supplier management.
- Procure manpower subcontractors and hourly workers, managing RFQ, contract finalisation and performance follow‑up.
- Invite qualified bidders, evaluate quotations for compliance, negotiate commercial terms and produce technical and price evaluation reports.
- Review technical data from successful bidders, coordinate technical submittals with the project team and ensure contractual terms are met.
- Prepare contract agreements, follow up on bank guarantees, and report procurement status to the team leader.
- Survey market prices for construction materials and stay updated on new materials and technologies.
Required profile
- Engineering degree in Mechanical.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant procurement experience.
